Is Hemp Legal?
Most states in the United States have laws allowing sales of hemp products. Laws do vary from state to state
- In some states, hemp-derived THC products, like Delta-8, THC-O, and HHC are legal.
- Some states that do allow hemp do not allow hemp-derived THC.
- Some states that have legalized marijuana have prohibited hemp-derived THC
- Some states allow smokable flower, others do not.
- In most states general hemp is legal so long as the Delta 9 content is under 0.3% THC
- Some states allow 18 years old to buy and use hemp. Sweet Jane’s policy is that anyone who buys and use are products should be over the age of 21.
The point is, since all the laws changing in each state and quickly, please check in your state for the most current laws. If you have trouble understanding what is legal in your state reach out and we will be happy to help! We are also able to provide plain hemp products as well as those with hemp-infused THC

What is hemped-infused THC and why use it?
Delta-8 THC (or Delta-8-tetrahydrocannabinol) is a naturally occurring chemical compound called a cannabinoid that’s found in small traces in hemp and marijuana plants. Delta 8’s chemical structure is similar to that of its well-known cousin, Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (Delta-9-THC ), the main psychoactive compound found in marijuana. There are also now “new” hemp derived THC that includes THC-O, HHC, CBDP, CBDV, and so on..
Both Delta-8 and Delta-9 are forms of THC. But when people refer to THC, they usually mean the Delta-9 that’s found in high concentrations in marijuana. Both Delta 8 and Delta 9 produce a euphoric, fuzzy feeling, but many believe Delta-8 causes a milder high.
Because Delta 8 is only found in small amounts, many people prefer hemp products to be infused with additional hemp Delta-8. This is legal in many states as long as it is made from hemp and the Delta-9 is less than 0.3%
How does personalization work?
Many of our products offer personalization. You can work with our Sweet Jane designer to create the perfect design or if you prefer, you can design on your own. If you do design on your own you will be given the dimensions needed for the design. You will have a chance to “proof” your design before it goes to the printers.
How long does it take my order to process?
- Please allow 4 weeks for delivery. Often times it is faster than this, but during the high wedding season, demand can cause longer lead times
- If you are getting a personalized item, please allow 4 weeks from the date of the finalized design.
Will using hemp products create a positive drug test?
Often times, drug test can not tell the difference between hemp-derived THC and Delta-9 THC (marijuana). It is possible that using Delta-8 will cause a positive drug test.
Also, almost all hemp products have small traces of Delta-9 THC in them. Even if you are just using CBD, it is still possible to test positive for THC on a drug test.
Do you offer returns?
Due to the nature of the products, we are unable to accept returns on any hemp products. We would be happy to provide you samples before you make a purchase. Please contact us about that!
